Dear responsible persons in the national associations,
dear Kolping sisters, dear Kolping brothers,

The Corona pandemic challenges us to give courage and live hope. Although our thoughts and feelings may seem to contradict each other, God is the solid foundation of our lives. We trust our God also in this time. Through his incarnation he has become the light of the world. We believe that all people are carried and held by this God. At Christmas, we celebrate God's attention, mindfulness and love. He is future and life. He is there!

Unfortunately, this year we were not able to meet at the Continental Convention of Kolping Europe due to the pandemic. Under difficult conditions you have continued to fill the community in the Kolping Society with life. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your manifold commitment, for the good and trusting cooperation.

We wish you and all those with whom you are con-nected, also on behalf of the members of the Executive Board of Kolping Europe, a blessed, peaceful, healthy and last but not least a merry Christmas.
