08.03.2016: Strategies for a successful Fundraising

From March 3-5 a workshop took place in Cologne for the National Organizations from Kolping in Eastern Europe.

Elisabeth Schech and Barbara Demmer from Kolping International informed the nine participants from Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia  about the essential methods in Fundraising, e.g., the mailing, permanent and high donor campaigns, legacy fundraising, cooperations with companies, online fundraising, campaigns with Kolping Families and schools.

There was a lively exchange of informations among the group members, as the partners contributed their experience. Kolping Poland and the Foundation, for example, have already gathered donations successfully online. They are supporting a solar lamp project in Uganda.

Szczepan Kasinski (Kolping Poland) explains an american eye tracking-study on a letter. The american reading habits are different from Germany.

The participants from Romania and Slovenia are working on their next Fundraising-Project in their country.
