This highest honour that the Republic of Hungary can award recognizes the merits of the 47-year old to the economic boom in the Heviz region and his ideas for establishing child-friendly services at the hotel. Baldauf, who celebrated his 20th anniversary as the director of the Hungarian Spa and Family Hotel on September 1, has brought many creative ideas to this facility of the Kolping Society. He goes jogging with his guests for an hour in the morning, cooks with the children, and holds regular “consultation hours” for the small guests. Through this direct and lively contact, which Baldauf maintains with his guests, the experienced hotel manager knows first-hand what the vacationers like. With the proceeds of the hotel, the Association wants both to support the work of the Kolping Societies and make family holidays possible in Hungary.
A success story of the co-operation of the National Kolping Society of Hungary and the Diocesan Kolping Society of Augsburg (Germany) since 1996!
