22.02.2021: Continental Assembly im Herbst 2021 in Köln geplant

The Continental Convention in Esztergom/Hungary is cancelled. Instead, the Continental Assembly is planned as a presence meeting on 22nd to 24th October, 2021, in Cologne / Germany.

The Continental Convention from April 9th to 11th, 2021, in Esztergom/Hungary is cancelled. We thank the responsible persons of the Kolping Society Hungary very much for their kind invitation and the valuable preparatory work that has already been done. It would be nice if we could meet in Hungary already next year.

If a face-to-face meeting is still not possible at that time, a digital Continental As-sembly will be held instead. Cologne was chosen as a venue because there, the technical requirements for either a face-to-face meeting or a digital meeting are available. New information will be sent out with the invitations and documents in mid-August 2021.

Kolping is sacred to me!
We are pleased to draw your attention to the online petition "Kolping is sacred to me!" launched by the Kolping Society of Germany. The Continental Executive Board calls upon you to participate in this petition. The petition is understood as a request to Pope Francis for the canonization of Adolph Kolping. We want to set a sign that the life and work of Adolph Kolping radiates into our present time. Every signature counts! On the occasion of the Rome pilgrimage 2022 the petition will be handed o-ver to the Pope. Further information and the signature form are available at

President Margrit Unternährer and Anton Salesny at the Assembly 2018 in Kaunas / Lithuania.
