02.12.2014: Celebration of Kolping Memorial Day in the sign of Europe

On the first Sunday of Advent, the Kolping Family of Central Freiburg (Germany) invited to celebrate the Kolping Memorial Day. The invitation was also extended to Mrs Margrit Unternährer, President of the Kolping Society of Europe.

In her presentation to roughly 100 Kolping members she spoke about the Kolping Society of Europe, its history, importance and activities of today. The members present listened to her with considerable interest, as the  information and thoughts given were less known or even completely new to lots of members.

The awards given to long and merited Kolping members added an extra note of solemnity to the event.
