28.11.2014: Kolping Youth: Fit for Event Management

During the weekend 21-23rd of November 2014, there was implemented a workshop "Event management" in Novi Sad, Serbia.

20 participants from Kosovo, Croatia and Serbia, all members of Kolping Youth, met in Novi Sad for the workshop in Event management. The Workshop was successfully implemented, in accordance with the program. The participants were interested in the topic, since members of participating Kolping Societies plan to organize various international meetings during the upcoming period.

The program involved many sessions, therefore the young people had the opportunity to share their mutual experiences and acquire knowledge regarding following topics:

• What is an event?
• What is event management
• The 5 W’s of event management
• SWOT analysis of event management
• Event marketing

The workshop was interactive and involved many presentations, discussions and work in groups. Special part of the international meeting was a sightseeing tour of Novi Sad.
