10.11.2014: 2014 Kolping World Day of Prayer

Praying connects. All around the world, Kolping members prayed on October 27 in a special way for the concerns of the Association.

Thus the time difference generates a world-wide chain of prayer around the globe and thereby links all Kolping Societies of KOLPING INTERNATIONAL. 

The International Kolping Society’s World Day of Prayer commemorates every year Father Kolping’s beatification of on October 27, 1991.  But the focus of this annual event is always a specific Kolping Society, which can introduce itself and ask for supporting prayers.  This year it was the Kolping Society of Chile.

Thousands of Kolping members therefore gathered this year in their parishes and Kolping Families to pray together for a more just world and a sustainable co-existence.
