22.08.2014: European Youth work-camp 2014

They made joint efforts, carried out reburbishing and building projects, performed a theatre play, produced a video and had many conversations: 40 young people from three countries visited Rumania to attend the Youth work-camp.

40 participants from Germany, Switzerland and Rumania attendend the European Youth week from 27th July to 10th August, 2014 which had been organised by Kolping Rumania. The participants were involved in many ways in the different activities which emphasized team work, solidariy in real life, citizenship, associations, and national culture.

The young people energetically helped refurbish the two Kolping Houses, they repaired the car park, re-built fences and did garden work.

They performed a theater play which they had worked out themselves and addressed issues relating to the protection of the environment and voluntary work. Sports and exploring the two cities were also on the agenda. Furthermore, the group used the opportunity to visit the mayor of Caransebes.
